Using the DMAIC methodology and coaching sessions, participants will complete a company project during training to both provide an ROI for the organization and to practice in the tools they are learning. Green Belts typically execute projects related to their current responsibilities. 

This is a practitioner-level course.  Participants will be able to plan projects and execute changes in the workplace.

While previous Lean knowledge is helpful it is not necessary for this class to be a positive learning experience.

In the LSS Yellow Belt course students learn Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma and how they differ.  The course shows students how to complete projects using the A3 methodology.  

Yellow Belts are part-time team members on Lean and Six Sigma projects.

This is an entry-level course for CI practitioners who can then branch out into the Lean Practitioner, Six Sigma Green Belt or Facilitator tracksClick

Lean Practitioner Course

training 2The Lean Practioner Certification course is a 40 hour On-demand course with a minimum of 6 people for onsite training. Call or meail for more info!

Lean Practitioner Certification Courses are forming now. Students will be simultaneously learning and using the principles of Lean while working on real company projects. This course enables students to use Lean thinking and tools to drive improvement in the workplace.  It includes project coaching to walk students through applying new concepts to company issues. 

The only requirement for this course is the desire to make things better.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification is an 80 hour course. Classes are forming now.  Call or email for details about onsite classes with a minimum of 5 people.  

The journey to Black Belt starts by taking Green Belts and then executing multiple projects to hone their understanding of Green Belt tools. This course includes project coaching focused on advanced statistical tools and advanced project management concepts.

 Participants learn statistical concepts as ANOVA and Design of Experiments (DOE), which enable effective and efficient experimentation to find the best settings to run a process. Black Belts are able to take on projects that include multiple departments or organizations. 

Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a pre-requisite for this course, subject to instructor approval.
